Book Now Available
A new biography book was released to the public on September 20, 2007.
It has 52 pages offering a consolidated source about the personal and public life of Howard B. Austin - Illinois' First Poet Laureate. The pictorial biography highlights the key influences and accomplishments of his life while intermingling various selections of his writings throughout.
This book is a key feature of the collection donated to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library in Springfield, Illinois. It was authored by one of Howard Austin's grandsons, Roger A. Austin.
